153 thousand square meters of habitation was put into operation in the Nikolaev region in 2007

NIKOLAEV, FEBRUARY, 07, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — 1 thousand 753 apartments by a total area of 153 thousand sq.m. were put into operation in the region in 2007, “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about this today on February, 7th, by the State statistics administration of the Nikolaev region. In comparison with 2006 the capacity of the habitation put in operation have increased on 9.7 %.

Almost half of habitation put in operation (73 thousand 900 sq.m.) are houses of individual building. Unlike in 2006 volumes of their construction have increased on 7.8 %. 19 multiroom apartment houses with total area of 77 thousand 100 sq.m. were constructed in the region. 15 of them are built in the regional center, 2 — in Pervomaisk, one — in Yuzhnoukrainsk region and one in Zhovtnevyi region.

60-apartment house was built for families of military men at the State budget expense.

Like in the recent years, the prevailing part of habitation is concentrated in city settlements (89.3 %), the others — in a countryside. In comparison with 2006 volumes of the apartment houses put in operation have increased in city settlements (on 9.3 %), and in a countryside (on 12.9 %).

The volumes of the habitation put in operation in the region for 1 thousand persons on the average made 126.8 sq m of a total area.

In the past year the increase of the volumes of the built habitation in comparison with 2006 took place in 6 administrative and territorial units of the region: in the cities of Nikolaev, Pervomaisk, Yuzhnoukrainsk, and also in Zhovtnevyi, Ochakov and Pervomaisk regions. The reduction of the volumes of the built habitation was observed in the other regions.

In total volumes of investment injections in housing construction for last 4 years have increased almost for two thirds.
