MYKOLAIV, MAY, 5th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – First interethnic mini-football tournament Cup of Nations has been held in Mykolaiv, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about it today 5 May at the press-service of Mykolaiv Youth Municipality.

The event was held within the framework of the project “Sport and Culture as the Antidote for drugs, crimes and alcoholism.”

The participants of the tournament were representatives of Bulgarian, German, Armenian, Russian, Turkish and Azerbaijani youth communities.

The games were of Olympic type where the team that lost quits the competition. The winner of the tournament was the team of Armenian youth. They beat Azerbaijani team, 3:1. Russian community team took the third position.

Mykola Zhuk, Mykolaiv Regional Council Deputy, Faction of the Party of Regions, congratulated the participants and awarded the winners.
