Rotary to grant promising horsemen of Mykolaiv

MYKOLAIV, MAY, 29th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Rotary club will award grants to promising horsemen of Mykolaiv, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about it today 29 May at the Mykolaiv Rotary Club.

According to their information, today performance of the sportsmen of the Mykolaiv equestrian school Pivdenkonetsenter is being held within the framework of Rotary annual grant awarding.

Mykolaiv is one of the few Ukrainian cities to have equestrian base, possibility and experience of preparing world class sportsmen and Olympic Champions. Mykolaiv Rotary Club has a tradition to give support to equestrian in the city.

Annual granting for promising horsemen of Mykolaiv was initiated in 2009 by Mykolaiv Rotary Club. The candidates to be awarded Rotary grants are selected by the coaches of Pivdenkonetsenter.

In 2009 it was Emilia Barinova who was awarded Rotary Club Grant.

This year the club made a decision to grant two sportsmen – Maria Reznichenko, 15 years old, and stimulate last-year grant winner Emilia Barinova to new achievements.
