ODESA, MAY, 31st, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE – Today 31 May Conference Day of International Forwarder 2010 is being held in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The organizer of the forum is Plaske acting with support of International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA).

This year in the forum, which is being held in Odesa for the eighth time, there participate forwarders of over 20 countries. Among the participants there are first deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Ukraine Vladimir Korniyenko, President of FIATA Jean-Claude Delen, People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Sergiy Grynevetskyy and other honourable guests.

The forum is to touch upon the following issues: multimodal shipments within the BSEC area, development of railway cargo shipments as a component of multimodal transportation between Europe and Asia, operation of the Wicking train and the prospects of its development in the direction of railway ferry shipments as a complex transit the Baltic Sea – the Black Sea, improvement of transport-forwarding standards and other.

After the Day of International Forwarder 2010 is over there will begin a peculiar transport week in Odesa: June 1-2 – International Marketing Conference Competitive Environment in Railway Shipments, June 2-4 – IX International Transport and Logistics Expo Inter-Transport, June 4 – IX International Transport Conference.
