MYKOLAIV, SEPTEMBER 4th, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Black Sea Shipyard has laid the second multipurpose vessel project CF3850 for Damen Shipyards Bergum, the Netherlands, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency has been informed about it today 4 September at the press service of the ship yard.

According to their information, in compliance with the contract the vessel is to be commissioned by June 2011. The ship yard shall carry out mounting of the hull constructions, propeller-steering complex, general systems, painting, insulation, and plating. The vessel is designed to carry dry cargoes and containers. Her projected speed will be 12.3 knots, maximum container capacity — 193 TEU. The ship’s length is 88.6 m, width — 12.5 m, depth — 7 m, deadweight — 3 thousand 800 tons, draft — 5.4 m.
