NIKOLAEV, MAY, 29TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Italian ship-building yard «Mondomarin» will cooperate with «Liman» factory, “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about this today, on May, 29th, by open joint-stock company «Ship-building Factory «Liman».

The representation delegation of Italian shipyard «Mondomarin» consisting of the owner of shipyard Marko Stroppiana, his son Ferrucchio and the general manager of firm Diego Deprati was at the Nikolaev factory «Liman» from May, 22 till May, 24th.

Italians have got acquainted with opportunities of the enterprise in modern yacht-building. They have got acquainted with all production phases – beginning with the case and finishing with furnish. Visitors have noted high quality of the performed works.

After the negotiations, the Italian and Ukrainian ship builders have come to conclusion about opportunities of mutually advantageous cooperation. A number of offers on cooperation which are studied at the moment by a management of «Liman» has been made by the Italian party.

Cooperation with Italians will allow «Liman» to enter the European market of yacht-building which is closed for the domestic manufacturer at present.

INFORMATION: “Mondomarine” firm has been created in Savone in 1978. In 80’s the company built yachts in the size of 15 — 24 m.

From the beginning of 90’s Mondomarine built megayachts in the size of up to 41 meters.

From the beginning of 2000th years at the enterprise yachts from 40 up to 50 m.

Except for the set forth above megayachts, Mondomarine firm has prepared projects of yachts of new series Atlantic in the size of 31 — 36 meters the design of which is executed by architect Cor. D. Rover and Sydac.

Open joint-stock company «Ship-building Factory «Liman» is engaged in construction and repair of vessels up to 70 m in length and dock weight up to 800 t. The factory has experience of construction of yachts of a representative class. Also «Liman» participates in the program of construction of high-speed patrol boats «Kalkan» for Boundary service of Ukraine. 24.99 % of «Liman» factory is owned by company «Santa» (Odessa), other actions are distributed between 3 physical persons.
