MYKOLAIV, NOVEMBER 11th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE —- Ukrainian “Golden Four”, that caused a furore in Beijing in 2008, have won the silver at the World Fencing Championships 2010 in Paris, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency has been informed about it today, 11 November, at the press service of Ukrainian National Olympic Committee.

The quartet of Ukrainian sabre fencers — Olga Kharlan, Olena Khomrova (Mykolaiv), Galina Pundik and Olga Zhovnir, was the leader at the Olympics in Beijing two years ago, while in France they only managed the second position, having lost to the Russian team in the finals 33:45.

The hosts — the team from France, were the third.
