MYKOLAIV, NOVEMBER, 16th, 2010, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Gas Turbine Research & Production Complex Zorya-Mashproekt has offered a plan of re-organization of Ukrainian gas transportation system, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency has been informed about it today, 16 November, at the press service of the company.

The offer had been prepared on demand of Ukrainian Government and later provided to Ukrtransgas and NAK Naftogaz.

The offer package provides reconstruction of compressor stations using modern powerful gas turbines, which will allow to economize up to 1.5 billion cubic metres of gas fuel. The gas transportation infrastructure is to be upgraded in three strategic directions: in West and South Transport Corridors, including several gas mains, as well as two underground gas storage. The offered programme is expected to make Ukrainian gas transportation system significantly more economical.
