ODESA, JANUARY 25th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Odesa International Airport has intensifies security measures due to the incident at Domodedovo International Airport in Moscow, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Press Secretary of Odesa International Airport Mrs Maria Popovich informed the agency about it today, 25 January.

According to Mrs Popovich, following the instructions of the State Avia Administration of Ukraine, the airport has taken a number of additional security measures in order to prevent any kind of extraordinary situations.

The manpower Liner Militia Department of the Airport has been involved, rapid response team has also been organized. Border and Customs services are operating in medium security mode.

The airport territory and the hall are constantly patrolled. Passengers and their luggage are additionally examined using special examination equipment and personal inspection. Other measures are carried out as well.
