ODESA, FEBRUARY 9th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Hi-Raise Constructions Chairman of Board of Directors Vladimir Rondin says Swissotel Odessa hotel will become landmark for Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Mr Rondin stated it yesterday, 8 February, at the presentation of the new hotel.

“With us being building constructors, it is important for us to show we can not only build equally gray faceless little houses looking alike. It is important we should be able to build something that will in some 10 years, 20 years, 50 years catch people’s eye and bring joy. For instance, Odesa Opera House was built 100 years ago. And still now everyone comes there and says: “What a wonderful piece of architecture you have!”. Today, contemporary architecture has a right to live too. This hotel is to become landmark for our city. I am very glad it is exactly our company that is implementing this project in the city”, he said.
