MYKOLAIV, FEBRUARY 14th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — State Enterprise Zorya-Mashproekt intends to implement a UAH240 million worth innovation-investment programme, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The agency has been informed about it today, 14 February, at the press service of the company.

Zorya-Mashproekt is going to continue implementing the equipment upgrade programme developed and initiated in 2010, the company is also planning to launch a number of new projects.

Approximately 70% of the company’s projects have been implemented or are being implemented at the time. Most of the investments have been directed at purchasing metal processing equipment. Priority is given to the most prominent European makes — ELB-SCHLIFF (Germany), JONES&SHIPMAN (UK), HOFFMAN (Germany), SHW (Germany), HESSAPP (Germany) and AGIECUT (Switzerland).

The equipment put to exploitation during 2009-2010 allowed to reduce some production cycle by 30—50%, which alongside with other measures increased the production. In 2009 the company made 44 engines, in 2010 — 61. Further growth will let the company implement the plans for 2011, the stock of orders for this year makes more than USD 350 million.

INFORMATION: State Enterprise Zorya-Mashproekt is a pioneer in the deep modernization of functioning gas compressor stations by means of the worn or old-fashioned mechanical drives for the modern effective gas turbine engines. The enterprise has an 18-years’ experience in such projects successive fulfillment at the gas mains of Ukraine, Bulgaria, Russia. At present the enterprise develops a new modification of 16МW engine with re-generation. This new equipment is allotted for Ukrainian gas-transport system. The engine will have 40% efficiency and a high level of reliability.
