ODESA, APRIL 18th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — The book “Federalization of Ukraine: to Integrity via Diversity’ has been presented in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Mr Sergey Zhiltsov, Chair of the CIS Centre, Institue for Modern International Problems, Diplomatic Academy of the MFA of Russia, has held the presentation today, 18 April, at the Context-Prichernomorie.

“The idea of the book was born a few years ago. This is a joint project of four authors, three of them from the Crimea. All the four authors wrote about federalization in varying degrees in different times. And the idea was born — to write a joint work. Not a political one, some of the rational approach. This was due to the fact that taking into account the authors’ stands coincide, over the years of independence of the state a single state idea hasn’t been worked out. The Federalists, Unitarians and the Regions are still fighting each other, each defending their own point of view. And in this context it is very difficult to talk about some common ideological field, common campaigns”, Mr.

According to him, the book is written for politicians and experts dealing with regional policy. Published in 1 thousand 500 copies.
