ODESA, MAY 13th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Public organization “Ukraine-Israel Association” is celebrating the XX Anniversary, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

“Today is a landmark date in the life of our Association. I cannot believe what we have turned 20. 20 years ago, the constituent assembly took place in this hall in May. The founders of the NGO became my family. The first thing we did we perpetuated the memory of our fellow countryman Aleksander Nudelman. In addition, it is our Association that equipped the monumental memorials at Lustdorf Road 27. Today there are not only Jewish symbols, but a Christian as well. We did this at the request of the residents and at the behest of our own soul. Our Association has installed memorials in the village of Bogachevka and Berezki”, said during the solemn ceremony the president of the Association Ukraine-Israel Dmitry Gutach.

“We are also proud that we have a Youth Theatre, that visited 20 countries around the world”, added Mr Gutach.
