ODESA, OCTOBER 1st, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Odesa National Polytechnic University and Hankun Aviation University, Nanchang, China, have agreed on collaboration, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of Odesa Polytechnical University informed today, 1 October.

According to the press service, in late September, a delegation of Odesa National Polytechnic University visited the largest China's aviation university — Aviation University of Hankun in the city of Nanchang.

The delegation was headed professor, head of the International Cooperation and Exchanges University Hankun Kuan Xinhua. The delegation included Professor School Alumni Lee Mintszyun, Director of International Students Huang Ke, Assistant Professor School of International Education and Director of the Siu Syaotsyu Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges Chi Sin.

The delegation of the University of Nanchang, met with the Acting Rector ONPU, Professor Sergiy Nesterenko. During the meeting they discussed possible directions of scientific and technological cooperation between the two universities. At the meeting it became clear that a graduate of the Institute of Industrial Technology, Design and Management of the University in 2004 with Yang Ihua works dean of one of the faculties of the University of Nanchang.

After the meeting at the rector’s office, the Chinese delegation visited the Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanics and Energy, and the Institute of Computer Systems. At the end of their visit, the guests visited the Institute for training foreign nationals. Teachers and students at Nanchang Aircraft University have been invited to attend summer school, to implement ONPU’s scientific achievements in the industry of China, exchange of students, joint publication of scientific papers in journals of the university.

The parties prepared a protocol of cooperation between two universities in scientific research, training of graduate and doctoral studies, exchange of students and teachers, the publication of results of joint research in domestic and foreign publications, and joint participation in international symposia and conferences.

Head of delegation Xinhua Kwan invited the delegation to visit ONPU Aviation University Hankun city of Nanchang.
