ODESA, OCTOBER 4th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Newly appointed Consul General of Bulgaria to Odesa Stoyan Gorchivkin has arrived in the city, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The Consulate General of Bulgaria in Odesa informed today, 4 October.

30 September, the newly appointed Consul General Stoyan Gorchivkin arrived in Odesa. He praktially took up his duties, but has yet to get exequatur (the official document certifying the acceptance by the Government of the consul of the host State — Edit.), reported in the Consulate General.

INFORMATION: Stoyan Gorchivkin was born 17 April, 1950 in Varna. He graduated from the Economic University in Budapest (specialty International Relations), the Diplomatic Academy in Moscow and the George Marshall Centre for Strategic Studies in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. He previous office was Head of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Head of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Pyongyang (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea), Deputy Chief Inspector Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He speaks Russian, Hungarian, German and English.
