ODESA, OCTOBER 22nd, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — A delegation of the Swedish consulting company WSP Civils has carried out an introductory visit to Odesa Port, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the port informed today, 22 October.

According to the press service, a delegation of the Swedish consulting company WSP Civils headed by Hans Markshtedt visited the port of Odesa. Swedish experts were interested mainly in the achievements of the port handling container cargo and cruise ship reception. The delegation was received by Chief of Tourism, Development and External Relations, Odesa Commercial Sea Port Oleg Fetisenko.

WSP Civils Transport Engineer Karin Jansson said that during last year’s visit to Istanbul, members of the delegation noted that most cruise ships there went in the direction of Odesa. Now their task is to thoroughly explore the possibilities of the largest Ukrainian port to continue to use this information when advising the Swedish transport and other companies related to freight transport and logistics.”
