ODESA, NOVEMBER 19th, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — 23—28 November 2011, Odesa will be hosting an international boxing tournament in memory of Joseph Katz, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Odesa City Council Information Office informed today, 18 November.

According to the Office, 23 to 28 November 2011 in Odesa will be hosting an International Boxing Tournament in memory of the honoured coach of Ukraine, USSR Master of Sports of Joseph Katz.

Applications for participation in the tournament came from the strongest young boxers from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and Moldova are members of registered sporting groups and organizations. Among many, the tournament will be attended by students of the Integrated Children's Sports School № 8, under the jurisdiction of the Office of Physical Culture and Sports of the Odesa City Council. Approximate number of players — about 100 people.

The beginning of the competition is 23 November at 9:00.
