ODESA, NOVEMBER 22nd, 2011, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — European Diplomatic School of Peace will be established in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.
President of the European House for Children’s International Cooperation Mr Vasyl Prikhodko informed today, 22 November.
“20 November, The Board of the European House for Children’s International Cooperation made a decision to establish an international education institution — European Diplomatic School of Peace (UN schools) in support of international organizations and specialized agencies”, the official informed.
“The School of Peace will be built in Odesa because this region is a multicultural, industrial, commercial, scientific, cultural and health and wellness centre in Europe with great history, classic architecture and sights of global importance and a culture of peace”, he said.
MR Prikhodko also said that the aim of the school is to contribute to peace and security, creating favourable conditions and a highly efficient mechanism for the disclosure of intellectual and spiritual potential of children and young people, without distinction of race, sex, language or religion, for the disclosure of personal abilities of children and adolescents national and international levels through an educational system aimed at developing human intellectual values.
