ODESA, FEBRUARY 16th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Minister of Immigrant Absorption of Israel Ms Sofa Landver has stated the government of Israel is ready to share our experience in health care and agriculture with Ukraine, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The official stated today, 16 February, during her meeting with Odesa Regional authorities.

“Today, Ukrainian people, together with Ukrainian Jews live in harmony, love and friendship. The relations between our countries are very high. President of Ukraine has recently visited Israel. The matters concerning both Ukraine, and Israel were touched upon”, said the Minister.

“Visa-free regime between the two countries brings certain results. Visa-free travel is a two-way road between the two countries, which may provide the future in all respects: healthcare, art and matters related to science, and so on”, added the Minister.

“Yes, the healthcare in Israel is at a sufficiently high level. We will do everything to facilitate the exchange of experiences between our countries in this area. Agriculture is also very developed in Israel. We are ready to share experience with Ukraine and Odesa in particular, in this secotr as well”, she said.

“I think we need to select a specific theme and develop it. For example, this year is the year of health, education, or something else. By selecting a topic, we will be able to have it developed. Israel is open to dialogue”, stressed Ms Landver.
