ODESA, FEBRUARY 28th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Olena Khomrova from Odesa has wins the silver in the squad of Ukrainian national fencing team at the World Cup finals, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the Ukrainian National Olympic Committee informed today, 28 February.

According to the press service, “the Ukrainian quartet (Olena Homrova from Odesa, Olga Kharlan, Galina Pundik and Olga Zhovnir) won the silver the Fencing World Cup, which ended 26 February in London, England.

The press service added, that the Olympic quartet yielded in favour of the Russian team in the final.

President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine Sergiy Bubka congratulated the fencing team on the winning of the World Cup and wished them to show the best results in five-months’ time at the Olympics in London.
