ODESA, MARCH 19th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Odesa’s Rugby-15 team has defeated Portugal in the European Nations Cup match, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The match was held in Odesa, 17 March, at the Spartak stadium.

Ukrainian team gained its first ever victory in the top division of the European Nations Cup, beating Portugal’s national team 35:33. In addition, the team had brought four attempts and got the bonus point.

The attempts were made by Sergii Tserkovnyi, Dzhaba Malaguradze, Sergii Monastyryov, Vyacheslav Ponomarenko, 3 implementations were made by Oleg Kosarev, 3 penalties — by Oleg Kosarev too.

The next match in the European Nations Cup team Ukraine-15 rugby team will play against Georgia on June 9.
