Delegation of Polish policemen visit Mykolaiv Region

MYKOLAIV, JULY 16th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― A delegation of Polish policemen have visited Mykolaiv Region, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The Public Relations Sector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Mykolaiv Region reported today, 16 July.

According to their information, for a few days law enforcement officers of Mykolaiv were working with their colleagues from Poland, who visited Ukraine in order to exchange experience.

The delegation of the Polish police was headed by the Commissioner of Police of Wadowice Malopolska voevodship Mariusz Nevedomsky. All foreign law enforcement officers, who arrived in Ukraine are members of the International Police Association (IRA). The delegation included representatives of the traffic police, the criminal unit, as well as forensic services.

During the visit, they discussed possible forms of cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the neighboring states, the specific activity of which is very similar. The representatives of both countries have analyzed the results of the main problems that have recently been faced by law enforcement officers to ensure order and security during Euro 2012 and made a decision on whether the development of cooperation in different directions.
