ODESA, AUGUST 21st, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Opening of the nationwide contest The Ukrainian Language ― a Language of Unity and International Festival Cinema Logos 2012 has been held in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The solemn opening of the events has taken place today, 21 August.

As the organizers of the festival and competition, the chairman of the Odesa Regional Organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine Yuri Rabotin, the festival and the competition will last for 3 days, the grand awards ceremony will be held on August 23.

“The main objective of the festival and competition is to unite the nations. In Odesa, there are 132 nations livig, we aim to integrate them as part of our festival. They join us from Moldova, Transnistria, Belarus, Russia, Germany, Poland and the USA. The entire Ukrainian foreign world knows about our competition. This year, more than 260 works contest”, he added.
