ODESA, AUGUST 21st, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Ukrainian language lovers’ club will be presented in Odesa 23 August within the framework of the Vyshyvanka Festival, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The chair of the secretariat of the organizing committee Vyshyvanka Festival Oleksiy Chornyi said today, 21 August, during a press conference.

According to Mr Chornyi, 23 August, at 11:00 am, there will be a presentation of the new club ― Ukrainian language lovers’ club.

“This is a novelty at the Vyshyvanka Festival, which will be held in Odesa for the fourth time. The presentation of the club will be held during the festival, but then the club will operate on its own. The club will be able to gather people who want to learn and know the Ukrainian language, just to communicate in the Ukrainian language”, he added.

INFORMATION: Vyshyvanka is the Ukrainian traditional clothing which contains elements of Ukrainian ethnic embroidery. Many variations of its design were created. Usually, it was made of homemade linen which was produced by loom. Local features are usually represented in the shirt's ornamental pattern.
