ODESA, SEPTEMBER 27th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Seminar conducted by Shihan Shotokan Karatedo International Federation Manabu Murakami (7 Dan) will take place 27―28 September in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Academy of Sport’s press service reported today, 27 September.

According to the press service, it is the master’s third visit to Odesa. This time Sensei Murakami accepted the invitation of SKI-Ukraine, Odesa. He will conduct a two-day seminar in the Sport Academy complex. After the seminar, a qualifying examination will be held.

The press service noted, SKIF federal certification is recognized by all Shotokan Karate federations in the world. In the framework of the seminar, the participants will learn the kata and kumite technique. Separate training will be held for young children of any age and also karate beginners. This training will be also useful for instructors and coaches as a technical guide in work with children.

INFORMATION: Shotokan Karate-do International Federation (SKIF) is the largest shotokan karate organization in the world, with in excess of two and a half million members worldwide, in one hundred and twenty countries. The Federation was founded by Hirokazu Kanazawain 1978, after an acrimonious split with the Japan Karate Association.
