MYKOLAIV, OCTOBER 3rd, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― OSCE observers have arrived in Mykolaiv, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Mykolaiv City Executive Committee’s press-centre reported today, 3 October.

According to the press centre, long-term observers Francesca Best, England, and Sergey Ermakov, Russia, met Mykolaiv Mayor Volodymyr Chaika and talked over their work plans. The OSCE representatives will observe the organizational preparation for the elections, the observance of the electoral process legality, as well the conducting of the elections and the processing of the results of the popular vote.

Mayor Volodymyr Chayka assured the observers the local authorities are taking all possible measures for the elections to be open and democratic.
