18:22 / 30.10.2012

ODESA, OCTOBER 30th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — UT-Air Ukraine will begin Odesa-Tbilisi weekly flights on 4 November, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Consul General of Georgia to Odesa Teimuraz Nishnianidze stated today, 30 October, during the press conference.

“I want to report the UTair-Ukraine airlines with the active support of the Consulate General of Georgia in Odesa and the Odesa airport launches regular flight from Odesa to Tbilisi. The new flight will be carried out weekly on Sundays. The first flight is scheduled for 4 November. I want to emphasize that the flight will be regular. It is profitable economically, and politically to have this service between major cities such as Odesa and Tbilisi. I think the whole Southern region will join to this direction, as there is no direct connection to Georgia in other cities of the region”, Teimuraz Nishnianidze noted.

“A new modern aircraft ATR-72-500 will be used on this route. Now a promotional rates cost USD 210 one way, and turnround — USD 390”, Financial Director of UTair-Ukraine Olga Dubovik added.
