ODESA, NOVEMBER 10th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Consul of Russian Federation's Consulate in Odesa Yuri Didenko has stated Russian language will be in demand in Europe and Asia in near future, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Mr Yuri Didenko stated today, 10 November, during the opening of the VI City Festival “Languages Rainbow”.

“It happened, large numbers of ethnic groups live in the Russian Federation, and we try to keep all of their linguistic palette. As of today, Russian is the language of international communication. 170 million people in Russia and 350 million people worldwide consider this language as a native language. Given the fact we will expand the Eurasian economic space and other economic zones, Russian language will soon be widely in demand not only for the neighbor countries, but also in Europe and Asia”, Mr Yuri Didenko noted.
