ODESA, NOVEMBER 14th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The products of wine-making company Shabo has been highly appreciated by consumers and experts of two international specialized exhibitions held in Kyiv, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

According to the information, “Shabo”, as one of the leaders of winemaking company, took part in two international exhibitions held early November in Kyiv. The international specialized exhibition “WinExpo Ukraine” was held 31 October ― 2 November at the Kyiv International Exhibition Centre. In the framework of the exhibition, “Shabo” presented its products at the Wine Salon exhibition.

Still and sparkling wines, grape vodka, vermouths, cognacs, and brandies have attracted visitors’ and experts’ interest, who participated in numerous sampling sessions at the Shabo’s stand.

According to wine reviewer of the magazine “Forbes”, curator of the project “Vinoteka.ru” Igor Serdyuk, Shabo wines have already reached European level. Chairman of the Commission, President of the Association of Sommeliers of Ukraine Dmitry Sidorenko and sommelier, oenologist, taster, President of Odessa Association of Barmen and Sommeliers Anatoly Malinovsky noted products of “Shabo” have a potential and can present Ukraine with honour at the international wine market.

In the course of the sampling, experts noted the quality of dry red wine “Merlot. Shabo Classic” and dry rose wine “Shabo Rose Classic”. It should be noted, these wines received high marks at the International WineTasting Competition “Wine & Spirit Awards. Ukraine”, which took place in the framework of the exhibition, the press service noted.

The festival “Wine Fest” was held in KyivExpoPlaza exhibition centre 7 November ― 9 November, in cooperation with the Ukrainian Vine and Wine Bureau association (“Shabo” is a member of the association). The festival was held in the format of a specialized exhibition. “Shabo” products were presented at a branded booth and it attracted many visitors by its appearance and quality.

In the run-up to the international festival of green wine, starting on the third Thursday of November, the presentation of a limited collection of “Shabo Green wine” was held. After a brilliant slide show of Shabo Wine Cultural Centre, guests were invited to the “Shabo” stand for bottled dry green wine (red, rose and white) sampling.

On the second day, professional sommeliers of the best Kyiv restaurants visited the Shabo exhibition. In the course of the sampling, wines “Shabo Reserve” and “Shabo Classic” received the approval. Also they were interested in “Georgian Legend” and “Erisioni” ― Georgian wine collection. Also sommeliers gave appreciation to grape vodka. But particular interest attracted classic sparkling wine «Shabo Classic», the press-service reported.
