ODESA, NOVEMBER 22nd, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Ukraine Mr Ion Stavila has stated EUBAM work of confidence building in the context of the Transnistrian conflict will be more intensive next year, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Mr Ion Stavila reported today, 22 November, during the press conference according to the results of the 19th Advisory Board Meeting (ABM) of the European Union Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM).

“Moldova appreciates the support and assistance of a mission in the context of the Transnistrian conflict in particular the promotion of confidence building measures. I believe this direction will probably be even more intensive next year, given the fact that Ukraine is a party of the settlement process in the 5+2 format for many years. Next year, Ukraine will preside over the OSCE. And I think the EUBAM will provide the important support for the implementation of certain activities planned in the presidency of Ukraine in the organization”, he noted.
