ODESA, NOVEMBER 27th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Odesa Airport has welcomed Ukrainian International Airlines’ flight with a water salute on occasion of the company’s 20th Anniversary, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the Odesa International Airport reported yesterday, 26 November.

According to the press service, on 25 November, 2012, “Ukrainian International Airlines” company has been celebrating its 20th Anniversary. On November 25, 1992, the first flight of the brand new Ukrainian airlines departed from Kyiv to London.

On occasion of the company’s Anniversary, Odesa International Airport welcomed UIA’s daily flight from Vienna with a water salute, trying not to soak the plane too much, considering the weather conditions.

Ukrainian International Airlines (UIA) is Ukraine’s leading airline established in 1992. Today, UIA is a 100% privately-owned company. The UIA primary business is to provide safe and reliable passenger and cargo transportation. The UIA fleet currently comprises 20 modern Boeing 737 aircraft.
