ODESA, DECEMBER 11th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Deputy Chairperson of Odesa Regional Council Oleksiy Goncharenko has noted the cooperation in the framework of the Euroregion “Lower Danube” will get a second breath with the appointment of the new Consul General of Romania in Odesa Emil Rapcea, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Mr Goncharenko reported yesterday, 10 December, during the meeting with the Consul General of Romania to Odesa.

“The work on strengthening of the relationships between Romania and Ukraine in the framework of the Euroregion “Lower Danube” was conducted quite active. Unfortunately, this year it was conducted less intensively. Tomorrow I'm going to Romania. General Assembly of the Euroregion “Lower Danube” meeting will be held in Galati next week. I will represent Odesa Regional Council. I hope, the work of the Euroregion will renew with our help”, the Deputy noted.
