Polish envoy: Ukrainians can easier find an official work in Poland now
16:55 / 20.12.2012

ODESA, DECEMBER 20th, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Consul General of Poland to Odesa Mrs Joanna Strzelczyk has stated Ukrainians can easier find an official work in Poland now, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Mrs Joanna Strzelczyk reported yesterday, 19 December, during the press conference.

“Ukrainians can easily find an official work in Poland now. Before, people went to Poland on a tourist visa and then they somehow got a work there. Not always they did it formally and legally. Ukrainians now can safely get a work visa to go and get work officially”, the Consul General noted.

“Also, one more thing, Ukrainians have to pay for tourist visas, but the working visas are free from September. Therefore, they are in demand. In 2010 we granted 662 working visas, 4 thousand 78 visas in 2011 and 4 thousand 314 in 2012”, Consul of the Republic of Poland in Odesa Bohusław Bojanowicz added.
