ODESA, DECEMBER 21st, 2012, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The International technical assistance has provided 10 million euro for the realization of various projects in the Odesa region in 2012, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Deputy Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Department for Foreign Economy and European Integration Anastasia Andronova reported today, 21 December.

“This year was particularly successful, especially effective for Odesa region. According to our estimated total, excluding small grants and projects that are on the stage of contracting, about 10 million euro was involved in the Odesa region. This is quite a serious amount, which will be focused on socio-economic development of the region. We cooperate with four dozen of international programmes, funds and donors on continuing basis, and as you can see, the results are obvious”, Anastasia Andronova noted.

“International technical assistance is often confused with the investment, but it is something different. It is provided without compensation”, she added.
