ODESA, JANUARY 25th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The student competition for grants for social projects has started in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The chairman of the Odesa Regional Organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine Yuriy Rabotin reported today, 25 January.

Organizers of the contest are a public information centre and Odesa Regional Organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine. The competition will run until the end of February.

As Mr Rabotin noted “Today the competition for grants for social projects among students has started. The sum of grants is UAH 1 thousand, 1.5 thousand and 2 thousand. Students may apply to the office of the regional organization of Union of Journalists, or send an e-mail gerni@mail.ru. Now we have the opportunity, we have sponsors who want to help young people. This is a small project, but it will be calculated in money. The money can be spent on the purchase of technical equipment”.
