ODESA, FEBRUARY 8th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Odesa City Mayor Oleksiy Kostusev and Consul General of China to Odesa Ms.Wu Xiaoying have taken part in the Chinese New Year celebration, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

According to the information, yesterday, on February 7, 2013, festivities dedicated to celebrating the Chinese New Year took place in Odesa Zoo. Odesa City Mayor Oleksiy Kostusev and Consul General of China to Odesa Ms.Wu Xiaoying took part in the celebration.

The festive visit of Odesa’s Chinese Diaspora representatives to Odesa Zoo is dated for the Chinese New Year celebration and is dedicated to the hostess of the year 2013 ― Black Water Snake.

On the eve of the celebration, the Consul General of China to Odesa Ms.Wu Xiaoying handed in presents from Odesa’s Sister City Ningbo to Odesa Zoo in the network of the sponsor aid programme.

Besides, the management of Odesa Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine and the representatives of “Tea House. Celestial Dew” company gave presents to Odesa Zoo, too.

Odesa City Mayor Oleksiy Kostusev expressed his gratitude to Ms.Wu Xiaoying and the representatives of the Chinese Diaspora.
