ODESA, FEBRUARY 19th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Vice Governor of Odesa Region Petro Khlytsov has stated that the opening of the Honorary Consulate of Lithuania in Odesa will improve Lithuanian-Ukrainian relations, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Mr Khlytsov reported yesterday, 18 February, during the opening of the Honorary Consulate of Lithuania in Odesa.

“The main purpose of the opening of the consulate, in our opinion, is the development of mutually beneficial economic relations between our two countries. An important part of these relationships is cultural relations. I am confident that the opening of the consulate will significantly improve our mutually beneficial relationships”, he noted.

“Today 4 companies with investments from the Republic of Lithuania operate in the Odesa region. The main directions are construction and processing. So, there are so many fields can be opened during our relationships”, he added.
