ODESA, MARCH 1st, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Germany to Ukraine Dr. Christof Weil had a working visit to the Odesa Commercial Sea Port yesterday, 28 February, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

According to the press service, February 28, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Germany to Ukraine Dr. Christof Weil had a working visit to the Odesa Commercial Sea Port. Diplomat met with the Head of the SE OCSP Yuri Vaskov. During the meeting the parties exchanged information on the implementation of the development projects of production capacities of the port, whose investors are the German company.

Greeting the German diplomatic mission in Ukraine, Yuri Vaskov noted that more than 50% of the funds invested by private entities in the development of the Odesa port for the last 15 years. Today, the company's largest investment project is the construction of a container terminal “Quarantine Mole”.

Dr. Christof Weil, in turn, expressed his satisfaction with the atmosphere of trust and constructive cooperation prevails in the relations of the port authorities and the German firms. Ambassador wished success of ongoing projects.

After the meeting the Ambassador visited the construction site of the new terminal “Quarantine Mole” (investor ― Stevedoring Company HPC-Ukraine), familiarized with the production capacity of stevedoring company Novolog and the company Alfred C. Toepfer International.
