ODESA, MARCH 6th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― A holiday devoted to the World Cat Day will be held 9 March in Odesa Zoo, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Odesa City Council Information Office reported today, 6 March.

As it was noted, March 9, at the Central Square of Odesa Zoo a holiday devoted to the World Cat Day will be held.

“Guests of the festival will be able to learn more about the domestic and wild animals, children and adults will take part in outdoor games, show off their knowledge of animal world in the intellectual quiz, to congratulate those responsible for the triumph in the contest of poems and songs, to represent their favorites in the competition drawing on the asphalt. Odesa Zoo prepared gifts and sweets for the guests of the festival”, the Office noted.

The festival organizers are also preparing an unusual competition ― the tug of war with a real lion.

Visitors in cat masks will receive individual gifts.

Odesa Zoo awaits guests at the festival on March 9 at 12:00.
