ODESA, APRIL 19th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The grand opening of the varnish-and-paint plant Eskaro has taken place yesterday, 18 April, near Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The grand opening was attended by the Chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration Eduard Matviychuk, the Chairman of the Odesa Regional Council Mykola Pundyk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland in Ukraine Arja Makkonen, CEO “Eskaro” in Ukraine Pavel Kurochka, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Eskaro Group AB” Pertti Pihlström, representative of “Swedfund” Ulf Tossman, representative of “Nefco” Torben Vindelov, as well as representatives of relevant companies and enterprises.

The red ribbon was cut by the Governor and the Ambassador of Finland.

Until 2007 these companies were run as independent regional companies, then in 2007 they were merged into the holding company Eskaro Group AB, registered in Gothenburg, Sweden.
