ODESA, MAY 16th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The Chairman of the Odesa Regional Council Mykola Pundyk has met the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine H.E. Mr. Henryk Litwin, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The meeting was held today, 16 May, at the Odesa Regional State Administration.

On the part of the Odesa Regional Council a meeting was also attended by the deputy chairman of the Odesa Regional Council Oleksiy Goncharenko, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in Odesa Konstantin Rzhepishevskyi and the Head of International, interregional, Cross-Border Cooperation and European Integration of the Odesa Regional Council Iryna Rusanova. The Polish side was represented by the Consul General of Poland in Odesa Joanna Strzelczyk and the Consul Adam Adamchuk.

“I am pleased to welcome you in the hospitable land of Odesa. I also want to congratulate you on the national holiday of the Republic of Poland and with a 10th Anniversary of the Consulate General in Odesa... The current Consul General is one of all the Consuls General, who ever worked in Odesa, awarded honorary distinction of the Odesa Regional Council,” Mr Pundyk noted.

“The work of the Consulate General of Poland in Odesa is an example for many consulates,” Konstantin Rzhepishevskyi added.
