The IV International Silent Film Festival “Mute Nights 2013” to be held June 21-23 in Odesa

ODESA, MAY 21th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The IV International Silent Film Festival “Mute Nights 2013” will be held June 21-23 in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Odesa City Council Information Office reported yesterday, 20 May.

According to the Office, the Festival, founded in 2010 by the Ivan and Yuri Lypa Charitable Foundation, has become the largest silent film festival in Central-Eastern Europe.

Venue ― Odesa Commercial Sea Port (the area of yacht club, pier ¹ 17-18).

This year's festival will include a demonstration of silent film “Ukraziya” (1924) accompanied by the music group “Orange the Juice” (Poland); silent film “The Kreutzer Sonata” (1926), accompanied by the music of Pavel Fajt (Czech Republic); “The Last man” (1924), accompanied by the music of Sergey Letov and Vladimir Golouhov (Russia), “Bread” (1930) accompanied by the music group “Port Mone” (Belarus), “Patsy” (1928) accompanied by the music of Yuri Kuznetsov (Ukraine).
