KHERSON, MAY 23rd, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Among the major suppliers of imports in the Kherson Region (by weight) ― Turkey, Ecuador, Russia, Bulgaria, Israel, Romania, Brazil, China and the USA, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of the Kherson Regional State Administration reported today, 23 May, referring to the data of the Kherson Customs of Ministry of Income.

According to the press service, only for 4 months 2013 the volume of total imports registration by the Kherson Customs was 197 thousand tons for a total cost UAH 1 billion 559.1 million. (or USD 195.1 million).

In the positive dynamics it is tracking weights increase by 38% and cost increase by 33%.

Among the main countries supplying imports in the Kherson Regions (by weight) ― Turkey 34%, Ecuador 15%, Russia 13%, Bulgaria 6%, Israel 5%, Romania 4%, Brazil and the United States 3%, China 2%.
