NIKOLAEV, JULY, 28TH, 2008, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Urgent evacuation of two seriously ill patients of military men of Armed forces of Ukraine in the Military-medical clinical center of Southern region has been carried out by the Ukrainian military physicians on the last day of the Ukrainian-American trainings «Sea Breeze — 2008» with attraction of other countries, IA “Context-Prichernomorie” correspondent reports.

The agency was informed about this by the press-service of the Ministry of Defence.

The officer of one of military units of the Nikolaev garrison, the participant of trainings, sergeant of airmobile division of Land forces of Armed Forces of Ukraine who was onboard the big landing ship «Konstantin Olshansky» required urgent medical service.

Seriously ill officer has been delivered from Nikolaev to Odessa by sanitary-reanimation plane of Air Forces of Armed Forces of Ukraine An-26 «Vita».

As the deputy chief of the Military-medical clinical center of the Central region, the lieutenant colonel of medical service Alexander Stolyarenko has informed, the condition of the officer was very serious but stable and there was no other opportunity to transport him to the hospital, except for plane.

Sergeant of airmobile troops who was onboard of the big landing ship of Navies of Armed Forces of Ukraine «Konstantin Olshansky» was set a diagnose of «perforated ulcer». He has been urgently evacuated to Odessa on the Ukrainian sanitary boat «Sokal» then.

According to the officer of a staff of «Sea Breeze — 2008» trainings, the colonel of medical service Igor Zaraysky, sergeant-commando has been urgently operated in hospital of the Military-medical clinical center of Southern region and there’s no danger to his life now. During carrying out of the Ukrainian-American trainings «Sea Breeze — 2008» variants of evacuation of wounded men and seriously ill patients by the sanitary ships, planes, helicopters and reanimation cars have been fulfilled. As the head of «Sea Breeze — 2008» trainings, the first vice-commander of the Navies of Armed forces of Ukraine vice-admiral Victor Maksimov has emphasized, these cases became real check of opportunities of divisions of medical services on granting first aid to the suffered military man.
