ODESA, JUNE 3rd, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Starting June 1, 2013, Ukraine International Airlines launches direct scheduled flights between Yerevan and Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of Ukraine International Airlines reported today, 3 June.

Flights en route Yerevan ― Odesa ― Yerevan will be operated weekly. Yerevan ― Odesa flights will be operated on Saturdays, while Odesa ― Yerevan flights will be operated on Fridays.

“The launch of direct flights between Yerevan and Odesa is another stage of UIA route network to the cities of Ukraine expansion programme and another step to meet the demands of the passengers from Armenia,” UIA Corporate Press Secretary Eugenia Satska noted. “The contacts of Armenia and the Southern region of Ukraine are traditionally solid since a large expatriate Armenian community resides in Odesa region. From now on UIA provides passengers from Armenia with an opportunity to take advantage of UIA non-stop flights, to quickly and conveniently reach Odessa to visit family and friends, to arrange matters or to discover Ukraine.”

New direct flights connecting the capital of Armenia and the Southern Palmira will be operated on modern aircraft with two cabin class layout.

UIA also operates non-stop Istanbul ― Odesa and Tel Aviv ― Odesa flights, while effective July 4 travellers from Baku will be provided with a chance to appreciate UIA service on board of Baku ― Odesa non-stop flights.
