ODESA, JUNE 3rd, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE — Credit-Rating has confirmed reliability ratings for the banks Pivdennyi and Marfin Bank, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Rating agency informed today, 3 June.

According to their report, 30 May, Credit-Rating announced the outcome of the review ratings of bank deposits, previously assigned to Ukrainian banks. Ratings of 17 banks have been confirmed at the same level. Today, 6 banking institutions have received a ‘5’ (highest reliability), the number of banks with a rating of 4 (high reliability) is 7.

In particular, the ratings of the banks Pivdennyi and Marfin Bank have been confirmed at the same level. Marfin Bank has a ‘5’ (highest reliability), ‘Pivdennyi’ — ‘4+’ (high reliability).

The press service noted that the ratings of bank deposits are dynamic and may be revised in case of events and/or changes in the performance of banks, which may affect the ability of the banking institutions in a timely manner calculated on bank deposits.

INFORMATION: Founded in 2001 Credit-Rating is the first rating agency in Ukraine committed to assessment of issuer's solvency and to assignment of credit ratings pursuant to the National rating scale. Since 2003 the agency's rating estimations have been officially recognized by Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. Since 2004 Credit-Rating has been an authorized agency of State Commission for Securities and Stock Market for assigning ratings to economic entities, to industries and municipalities. Starting from 2007 the agency assigns corporate governance ratings.
