ODESA, JUNE 4th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Deputy Mayor, Director of Financial Department of Odesa City Council Svetlana Bedrega has stated that Czech Republic has become a priority partner for Odesa over the last 20 years of diplomatic relations, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Such statement was made by Deputy Mayor today, 4 June, at the opening of the Ukrainian-Czech Business Forum in Odesa.

“This year we celebrate the anniversary of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and the Czech Republic ― 20 years. During this period the Czech Republic has become one of the priority partners of our country and in our region, the Odesa region and Odesa. During 2012 the trade turnover between Ukraine and the Czech Republic amounted to almost UAH 1 billion. I hope that our relations in the fields of economy and investment will develop in the future,” Mrs Bedrega noted.
