Sergiy Grynevetskyi noted today, 12 July, at the 1st Conference of Danube Parliamentarians (Ulm, Germany).

Do not forget that water transport is environmentally friendly and its development is a priority of the EU transport policy,” he said.

“Ukraine is deeply involved in the work on the updated Convention concerning the Regime of Navigation on the Danube, which is discussed the principle of free access to the market of transport, in other words there is an exception to any kind of discrimination. However, the date of adoption of the Convention and its entry into force is not defined, and it is still new administrative barriers to access to the market appear in the Danube navigation,” Mr Grynevetskyi added.
