ODESA, JULY 20th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― The Best Short Film of the Ukrainian National Film Award has become the film “The Road” by Maxim Ksendy, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

The press service of OIFF reported today, 20 July.

Accorging to the information, “The Road” by Maxim Ksendy became the Best Short Film of the Ukrainian National Film Award. Producer of the movie received the first “Golden Duke” from the hands of the Chairman of the Board of TASkombank Vladimir Dubey.

“We have been supporting the festival for 4 years already and it has grown up a lot. Especially important is the fact that the Ukrainian competition exists already for 3 years — we have seen Ukrainian cinema developing. Many directors begin their career with short films and I am sure this golden statuette will become the golden key that opens the door to the great cinema,” he noted.
