ODESA, JULY 26th, 2013, CONTEXT-PRICHERNOMORIE ― Army Component Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkey Hayri Kıvrıkoğlu has visited the Military Academy in Odesa, Context-Prichernomorie correspondent reports.

Regional media centre of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (Odesa) reported today, 26 July.

According to the media centre, Army Component Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkey Hayri Kıvrıkoğlu visited Odesa garrison with a friendly visit. The General together with a group of officers came to Odesa for the purpose of deepening of military cooperation between the ground forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Republic of Turkey, to discuss future areas of cooperation.

In Odesa, the Turkish military delegation, accompanied by the Chief of Staff ― First Deputy Commander of the ground forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Anatoly Pushnyakov, commander of the Southern Operational Command, Major-General Anatoly Sirotenko and Acting Chief of the Military Academy (Odesa), Major-General Oleg Gulyaka, familiarized with the infrastructure, features and functions of officer training at a local military academy.
